A Sampling from My Neighborhood

The Entrance to the Imperial College Union, about a block and a half away from our flat. We hang out here a lot.

The gates of Kensington Palace, right across the street from our flat! It was Princess Diana's last home in London.

This is a major intersection I go through every day. To the right is Foundation House, to the left is my flat, and straight ahead is Metrogate. I also mail letters at that post box.

Harrod's is approximately 15 minutes away by foot. I go there often.

The Natural History Museum had a skating rink outside when we first got here. This is just down the street from Foundation House.

My flat: 37 Hyde Park Gate. I live on the second floor. We have very posh neighbors next door who don't like noisy American college students.

My bed. Right by the heater, which I appreciate.

Our view (a backyard). Not bad, considering other people in the flat look out on brick walls.

A kitchen that 21 girls share.

View of Hyde Park from our living room.

Roommates in the living room.

Same thing.

Hyde Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Everyone was outside.

Metrogate.

Freddie Mercury at Foundation House.
I was really excited when I saw this.

The lounge at Foundation House. I go here to watch TV, and they subscribe to all the major  newspapers.

Don't expect too much...

Hey Mom & Dad (and whoever else I share this with), I wanted to make a blog to put up a few pictures for you guys to see. I figured it was only fair since you're doing one to keep me up to date on what you're doing in Texas! I don't plan on doing this too in-depth, but I'll post some photos every once in a while. Also, I found out that when my friends here tag me in photos on facebook, they are in a private album so Mom and none of my friends from home can actually see them, so that's another incentive to do this.
